1. Privacy at a glance
General information
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. Detailed information can be found in this privacy policy.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the section “Note on the responsible party” below.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected when you provide it to us, e.g. by email or via the contact channels linked on this website.
Other data is collected automatically when you visit the website, by our hosting provider (technical server data, see “Hosting” section).
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke it at any time. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request restriction of the processing of your personal data. You further have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
2. Hosting
We host the content of our website with the following provider:
Hostinger
This website is hosted externally. The personal data collected when visiting this website is stored on the servers of the hosting provider. This may include IP addresses, access times, pages accessed and similar server log data.
External hosting is carried out in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our hosting provider only processes your data to the extent necessary to fulfil its service obligations and follows our instructions regarding this data. A corresponding data processing agreement (DPA) has been or will be concluded with the provider.
3. General information and mandatory disclosures
Data protection
We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. by email) can have security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the responsible party
The party responsible for data processing on this website is:
Lisa Mühlberg
Advokatenweg 40
06114 Halle (Saale), Germany
Phone: 01784988800
Email: hello@muehlbergen.com
The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.
Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing it (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law).
Recipients of personal data
We only pass on personal data to external parties where legally required, necessary to fulfil a contract, we have a legitimate interest in doing so (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or another legal basis permits it. When using processors (e.g. our hosting provider), this is only done on the basis of a data processing agreement.
Withdrawal of consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent already given at any time; the lawfulness of processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data.
Right to lodge a complaint
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged violation.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or a third party in a common, machine-readable format.
Access, rectification and erasure
You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, the purpose of processing, and, where applicable, a right to rectification or deletion.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request restriction of processing in certain cases, e.g. while disputing accuracy, if processing was unlawful, if you still need the data for legal claims, or while an objection is pending.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.
Objection to promotional emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of the legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising material.
4. Data collection on this website
Contact form
The contact form on this website is currently implemented purely client-side: when submitted, no data is transmitted to or stored on a server. If you wish to contact us, please use the email address or social media channels given on the contact page for now.
Once the contact form is connected to email delivery, your details will be stored to process your enquiry and will not be shared without your consent; this policy will be updated accordingly at that point.
5. Content management system
To maintain the website's content, the operator uses a content management system (Decap CMS) accessible only to authorised editors (login required), with no functionality for regular visitors.
Login is handled via GitHub (GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) and a technical relay service by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). This may involve processing technical data such as the IP address of the person logging in. This only concerns the website's editors, not its visitors.
6. Social media
This website contains a simple link to our Instagram profile. This is not an embedded social media plugin: visiting this website does not automatically connect to Instagram's or Meta Platforms Ireland Limited's servers. Only clicking the link takes you to Instagram, where Instagram's own privacy policy applies: https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy/.
7. Plugins and tools
Google Fonts (locally hosted)
This site uses so-called Google Fonts for consistent typography. The fonts are installed locally on our server; no connection to Google's servers is made.
